We have recently been informed that the Desire at Chelsea show in February 2021 has, like all our shows last year, been cancelled. Certainly this is a blow to us because not only do we absolutely love going to the shows and seeing all our clients, meeting new ones and catching up with all our friends in the trade, but the shows are also vital to the health of the business because we don’t have a shop front and are not in any other shops or galleries. But all is not lost! We are changing with the times and making it much easier for our treasures to be found on line and purchased virtually.
The website has had a refreshing face lift with larger and more images of each piece and more detailed descriptions of them, and we’ve added PayPal as a method of payment, too. We still take cheques as well, bank transfer is a useful option for many, and this year we are setting up a portal for taking cards over the phone which so far has not been possible. So we’re trying to make it as easy as possible for you to get your treasure without being able to visit us at any shows or indeed, at the moment, without being able to make an appointment to come and see us.
As always we have a very accommodating return policy on any piece purchased so if you change your mind you can return the piece within 14 days of purchase (in the same condition you received it, of course!) for a full refund or exchange. We also accommodate paying in instalments which may help you have the piece you desire but cannot pay for all at once.
The fact is that retail is changing and we must change with it, so if you can think of anything else we could do to make it easier for you please do let us know and we’ll do our very best to make it happen.
So…. it’s business as usual, in all its new guises!
